Bio 326/426 Biodiversity and Climate Change
Offered in Spring 2025. For upper level biology majors and master's students.
We explore topics relating to biodiversity- how it is defined and why it is important- and the effects climate change has had and will have on global biodiversity.
Sci 204 Connecticut Natural History and Biodiversity
Offered in Spring 2025. A course for non-bio majors. The class is a broad exploration of the plants, animals, and ecosystems of Connecticut. We get outside and take fieldtrips as much as possible to explore the forest and the coast. By the end of the class, students will be broadly familiar and able to identify the most common plants and animals in the state. No prior knowledge is required, only enthusiasm!
